And the Winner is...

Drawing a winner in style
This Planning with Kids giveaway has been my favourite and the one I've been the most excited about. All your comments have given me a glance inside a part of your life I may not have seen before and it's told me I am not alone in this disorganised life. I am also not alone in seeing that there's a light at the end of the tunnel. There's hope for us to get ourselves together and run a relatively smooth, (more) organised household.

I truly, honestly wish I could give you all a copy of Nic's book and see you all benefit from what she shares. While I have yet to read it myself, I genuinely believe Planning with Kids to be a wonderful resource for mother's everywhere and it will be on the top of my baby gift shopping list for friends and family (after I get myself a copy, of course).

Okay, onto the winner. Congratulations go to DanniiBeauty who said;
This book sounds fabulous! I'd love to learn more tips on being organised and being able to get through everything I have to in an orderly way!
This past year has been hard, trying to juggle work from home with my nearly two year old and getting my eight year old to school on time!
I'll be in touch soon, Dannii!

Don't forget that Nic shared some tips on Making Time for Mum in my giveaway post or you can find her in various places online: Websites, Twitter, Facebook.

And now, in keeping with my Month for Me, I am off to  SPOIL myself and spend many birthday monies at Crossroads!

What are you doing for yourself today?

Tangled Winner!

Congratulations to the lovely Philippa of House of Baby Piranha for winning my Tangled Giveaway
Philippa said...
I wish my hair had an Anti Frizz power especially on rainy days :)

I would love that power too,  as rain - or impending rain, being near water, drinking water and even thinking about water - sends my hair into fits of frizz. I don't love it.

If you missed out, don't fret, simply pop over to DanniiBeauty and enter her Tangled Giveaway

And if you missed any of the cute hair styles I posted in conjunction with Tangled being released, you can find the links to each day below;

And the Winner is...

Congratulations to Trish of My Little Drummer Boys on winning my LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars on Wii giveaway! I am sure your boys will LOVE it.

I have to be honest, I kind of didn't want this giveaway to end as I was loving the answers to my question; who would you like to see in LEGO form

Here are some of my favourites:

Trish said cows, which I would so buy. Kellie suggested the Hoff, Dorothy thought a LEGO likeness of herself would be a challenge and how cool would it be if we could all have a little version of ourselves!

My absolute favourites were Oprah, suggested by Nellbe and  Hugh Jackman which both Caz and Alice Becomes wanted. I told James he could buy as many LEGO figurines he wanted if they were in Hugh Jackman form. Can you imagine??

Who else would make a perfect LEGO figurine?

Playing Catch Ups

It has been almost a week since I last blogged. I was starting to think I would never get back to it! Before I get into why I've been absent, I need to announce the winners of the Amelia Rose prints.

Congratulations to Kirsty for winning this Sunbound print

And congratulations to Kym of Mumma's Mini Me's for winning this Vision print

Sorry it's taken me so long to get to this, I will be in contact. If you didn't win, I highly suggest purchasing from Amelia Rose, the prints; while gorgeous online, are even more spectacular in real life. Go and check out her new 'I Love My Camera' prints while you're there, I am sure there are many of you who will want one of them!

So, life has been nuts. Last Friday, James and I were all ready to tackle packing everything we needed to bring but couldn't pack up due to needing it up until leaving and we both woke with a horrible tummy bug which had us both crippled. Neither of us could do a single thing, even though we knew there was so much to be done.

I felt dead. All I could do was lay on the couch and beg the children to behave and I've never been so happy as when 3 o'clock came around and it was finally my turn to crawl into bed. I slept until 6 and then we were all in bed, as a family by 6.30 and asleep by 7pm.

Saturday we had a million things to do and, thankfully, Mum and the gorgeous Kirsty (yes, the winner of Sunbound, lucky duck!) were there to help us out as we both still felt drained and disgusting. I think both James and I spent a whole lot of time standing around not quite sure what to do, in a fog. By some miracle (aptly named Mum and Kirsty) we got everything we needed packed, the house clean enough for any inspections and traveled the 5 hours to our new home.

Moving Day
It's been a whirl-wind start to our new life here. Ellie ended up with the tummy bug and then it hit Mum, Dad, Caleb, Me (AGAIN) and Jasper. James has started his new job and being new, learning different ways of doing things and still feeling a little under the weather has made it a struggle.

I think we're all (finally) back in the land of the living - if you've contacted me and I've not yet replied, I am getting to it. And tomorrow my two baby girls are off to their first day of Day Care! We've been talking about it a lot today and Ellie is very excited. She does keep asking me if I am sad, though, so I will have to be extra careful about any tears.

So, what have you been up to?

**Drumroll Please**

Firstly, I would like to say congratulations to the ladies over at Our Park Life on being comment #3 and winning my Tinkerbell Giveaway! I can't wait to get it sent out to you and hope your children enjoy it as much as mine do!

This weekend has been lovely. My Mum threw me my first ever Baby Shower, where I was surrounded by some amazing women, it was a very warm-fuzzy experience for me and once I have gone through the (literally) hundreds of photos James took of the event, I will share it all with you.

Once we were kicked out of my Nan's house after the event (yes, literally kicked) James and I made our way up to my Mum's house, Childless. Yes, really. The girls stayed with Nanna and Casey so James and I could have a break.

So, what do you do without children? You paint your nails, of course. It is the first time I have done this for at least 4 years. I didn't do a good job, but I still like it.

We've done some shopping, some resting, some reading, some photo shoots and lots of sleeping. It is so nice, quiet and restful. Early tonight we're off to see Tomorrow, When the War Began before Nanna, the girls and my brothers arrive to disturb the peace ;)

Before I go, I thought I would leave you with some of the pics I've taken with my beautiful new camera.
