Over it!

Today I went to Emergency as I've had very bad pains in my timmy and back and I haven't felt Phoenix move for a few days. I just wanted to make sure bubs was okay. So, I waited an hour before seeing teh doctor and he tells me I had some blood in my urine, then he checks his paper work and corrects by saying "There was a lot of blood in your urine." then he told me I had a UTI and gave me some pills. He also told me to "rest as much as possible." I love that, with two toddlers 'rest' isn't a word a know too much about!!

Between this and my chest infection I am so over it all. Everything hurts. I am not with it, my brain just isn't functioning and I am so tired all the time.

16.5 weeks down, I kinda want it to go faster but at the same time it's already going to fast and the idea of having three children under 4 in five months is kind of freaking me out!

Why have I never been a 'glowing' pregnant woman, with energy in the second trimester and an enjoyment of the experience? Or is that a fable? It would just be awesome to be enjoying this right now!!

Girl's night!!

Mum and I had a girl's night tonight. We had pizza and watched a movie called Four Holidays, after watching MasterChef with Ellie, of course (she loves it and is a pretty big George fan). It's so nice to have a night like this once in a while :)

We Play: With Chalk

We Play

Now that the days are getting colder and as we're currently visiting Nanna - where the weather is quite a bit cooler than at home - our outdoor play time is being cut back.
However, as soon as it is warm enough outside to play we rug up and rush out. With Uncle Max home, we figured a bit of chalk drawing on the cement was in order.

My girls love to draw. They'll take any opportunity to do so and exploring new canvases and mediums is something they take real pleasure in.

Ellie's starting to make more deliberate drawings - less scribbling. Every picture has an elaborate story these days :) She is also starting to remember colours othan than blue and yellow now.

On the other hand, Kahlei is much more interested in the feel, taste and texture of the chalk.

I drew a hopscotch court and Uncle Max showed the girls how to play. Kahlei showed no interest, but Ellie thought it would be fun to play. In her own way, of course.

And no day would be complete without annoying the cat, by drawing on her!

I wrote an 'I miss you' message for my hubby, as he's gone home for the week.

Come play at the Childhood 101 We Play link up.

Another quick one...

I'm not feeling great. Really not great. I WILL do a proper post tomorrow.

And now I'm old!

I had written a whole big post about the last few days - about my birthday and such and then firefox crashed. Now, I am too tired to start again. We spent the last few days at my dad's, where he has no internet, so I did short posts from my phone to keep up with NaBloPoMo.

The girls and I are staying with my mum this week and James has gone home for work. I miss him :( But, I am hoping I'll get some rest and feel better while here. Especially after Kahlei woke me early and had me up at 5.30am. Not thrilled about that.

Since I haven't had a nap, I am struggling to watch House 'with' James.

Oops!

I decided to skip my now daily nap in favour of participating in my very first Speed Scrap over at Digiridoo Scraps. To be honest, I have been quite nervous about these and on occassion had popped in on the end of one to see how it went and always felt like there was no way I could scrap that way. Too much pressure. But, it was fun! Caryn (aka Color with Caryn) made it easy to follow the steps and, even though there was a moment where I had to restart Photoshop, I actually managed to get my layout done on time! Amazing.

With the Digiridoo Birthday Bash going on right now, there are plenty more speed scraps over the coming days, so if you missed this one you can still participate and hang out with some awesome ladies while scrapping, chatting and maybe even getting a RAK or two!

And now some pics of my girls 'playing' xbox. Well, Ellie kind of played - she moved the person. Kahlei wasn't even plugged in because she tends to pause the game. How cute!

Now

If you regularly read my blog and have over the months, you will probably notice that I have a tendency to start things here and don't seem to get through them. I have tried Project 365 twice now and on numerous occassions I have started a new month by declaring my participation in NaBloPoMo and, honestly, I have yet to get through a single month.

I really do want to do it and start with the best of intentions. That's why I put taking part in NaBloPoMo (#48) on my 101 in 1001 list and this time around I am determined to post something everyday, even if it's just a photo or single sentence!

This month's theme is 'Now', which is easy as I tend to blog my now, anyway!

So far so good - day 2 in June and I've posted both days. Go me and my awesomeness.
