4 Years On

Four years ago today James and I were married in front of a Pearl Lugger in Broome, WA. It was a beautiful day. A beautiful place. Even if we were both practically melting from the heat.

I can't believe it has been 4 years already. I can't believe how much has happened in these four years. Three babies, a cat, a new job, a bit of depression, a nephew and moving house. And so much more. It has been so much more than I ever imagined.

Last night I spent some time reading over all my posts about our time in Broome, reliving and remembering and then I looked through our album. I love that we did something so different and how gorgeous our background is. We shared something completely amazing on our trip and I honestly don't think it would have been the same had we stayed in our state and done things differently.

I do regret my family not being there, but Ellie was due the month we planned to marry and so we had to push things forward. I like to dream that, one day, we will all go to Broome and James and I will renew our vows with our closest friends and family around us, with the Pearl Lugger behind us. Then we will have a picnic on Cable Beach and it will be beautiful. Perfect.

Two years ago I wrote a special tribute to James and I would like to re-dedicate it to him today. There is no way I could top that (especially now that we've added another dose of baby brain to the mix).

Happy anniversary, My Love. I love you xo
