Disappointed

Early this morning, before the sun was even up, James left to go to some far away place. I got up and made his lunch then went back to bed where it was warm and cosy. I was upset that he was going so far away and not coming with me to my appointment this morning. He said he assumed I didn't want him to come as I hadn't asked if he'd got the time off and I had just assumed that he would be there.
